Gianmarco Accordi is a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, specializing in performance portability for extreme-scale high-performance computing applications. His research focuses on optimizing drug discovery simulations across heterogeneous architectures, contributing to projects such as LiGen and LIGATE. He has interned at RIKEN-CCS, working on supercomputing performance research, and has published extensively on GPU and HPC optimizations.
