Master students
We welcome both Italian and foreign students willing to gain knowledge in the field of computer science. Many of our courses here at Politecnico di Milano are taught in English, and we have a long history of foreign students attending our classes.
If you are considering applying for a Laurea Magistrale (or Master of Science), which lasts 2 years and consists in a rigorous and advanced training in a specific field, you must already have a Laurea (or Bachelor of Science). If this is in a different field, you must first obtain the necessary credit.

PhD students
The Politecnico di Milano is one of the most outstanding technical universities in Europe, ranked 1st in Italy and 27th in the world for engineering according to the “QS World University Ranking 2017-2018”.
The access to our PhD programme in Information Technology (IT), and to all PhD programmes of Politecnico di Milano, is via selection. The call opens annually (usually from April to May) and you can view the call here.
