The HEAP Laboratory has access to several facilities and tools, both in terms of software and hardware.
From the software point of view, a wide range of simulation, analysis, and EDA tools is available.
In terms of hardware, the laboratory has access to: a range of multi-core server-class platforms for simulation and development of high performance applications, including GPGPU accelerators; boards for fast prototyping and development of sensing and wireless nodes; FPGA boards from both Xilinx and Altera for reconfigurable computing; a mix of custom and standard boards for prototyping hardware accelerated encryption and evaluating side channel attacks; tools and equipment for electronics measurements.
